Class dates: 3/16, 3/23, 3/30, 4/6, 4/13, and 4/20.
Take your skills to the next level and get certified! This course will prepare you and your pet to take the AKC’s Canine Good Citizen (CGC) evaluation by proofing the 10 items on the test:
- Accepting a friendly stranger
- Sit politely to be pet
- Appearance and grooming
- Walking on a loose lead
- Walking through a crowd
- Sit & down on cue/Stay in place
- Coming when called
- Reaction to another dog
- Reaction to distractions
- Supervised separation
All dogs, including both purebred and mixed breed dogs, are welcome to participate in the AKC’s Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Program. Dogs must be old enough to have received necessary immunizations such as rabies vaccines.
