All pets boarding at The Center must have been vaccinated for must Parvo/Distemper (3 rounds), Bordatella and Rabies. Vaccination records may be emailed to [email protected]. Your pet’s records must be received in advance of your first stay & be updated annually.

To maintain your pet’s diet, we encourage owners to drop off what you normally feed them. Please bring only enough pre-measured food to cover your pet’s stay. Your pet’s food container must list their name and feeding instructions (amount, delivery preferences, etc.). Additionally, your container must include the appropriate-size measuring cup or pre-measure baggies of kibble.  Pets that do not arrive with their kibble, or run out during their stay, will receive a high-quality, age-specific food for $7/day.  If your pet stops eating or begins to lose weight during their stay, you will be notified.

The Center feeds twice daily and may deliver a treat at nap time. For dogs that need to be fed separately, we recommend purchasing two suites, as we cannot guarantee your pets will be separated at feeding.

The Center’s Hospitality Team is trained to administer most veterinarian prescribed medications your pet requires, with the exception of injections. Please convey your pet’s medication needs when making your reservation. As required by the USDA, medications must be in their original container from your veterinarian/pharmacy and be clearly labeled with your pet’s name, veterinarian contact details and dosage. There is no charge for administering prescribed medication. Non-prescribed medications, supplements, ointments, etc. may incur a $7/day charge unless these supplements are included in individual baggies along with your pet’s food. The Center cannot guarantee that your pet ingests these medications.

The Center reserves the right to refuse any pet that is not up to date on vaccinations or shows signs of illness or injury. Any pet that shows evidence of fleas or ticks will be given a medicated bath at the owner’s expense.

With your pet’s best interest in mind, all owners with dogs age 9 or older will be asked a series of questions (examples below) to determine if overnight boarding will meet their needs & provide maximum comfort. Based on our conversation, our team may recommend alternatives to residing at The Center.

  • Is your pet independently mobile?
  • Does your pet have any debilitating medical conditions?
  • Does your pet have incontinence issues?
  • Does your pet have any special needs?

If your pet requires emergency medical attention, The Center reserves the right to transport them to a veterinarian of our choice and/or administer medicine and/or give other advisable attention within The Center’s reasonable and sole discretion and judgment at the owner’s expense.

During your pet’s stay at The Center, all approved items they arrive with will be documented & kept together.

All belongings must have your pet’s first & last name on them. Although we will do our very best, The Center cannot guarantee that all personal items will be returned upon check-out—so please keep all non-replaceable possessions at home.

For safety, your dog’s collar will be removed during their stay. For enrichment, you may provide a durable chew toy or purchase a frozen stuffed Kong for your pet. Flat beds & blankets are welcome, but to protect your pet’s safety, easily-destructible or digestible toys such as stuffed animals, stuffed bedding, tennis balls, rope toys and small play items are not permitted.

For increased safety & easy identification, your pet will be fitted with a disposable collar upon arrival. They will also receive a fleece bed and a toy for their comfort & enjoyment. Collars & leashes will be returned upon pick-up. Boarded pets will be fitted with a plastic collar & slip lead upon arrival. Each pet’s collar & leash will be stored throughout their stay and returned to your pet at pickup.
